Depths and yields of nearby bores are the strongest data you have. We ask about them on every site visit.
Respect spacing
Drilling too close to an existing bore splits the same fracture instead of finding a new one. Both bores end up weaker.
Do not chase a round number
Deciding on 500 feet before drilling is a budget decision, not a geological one. Let the formation logs guide the stop point.
